Christmas Tree Festival to be held in St Laurence Church, Downton
The community of Downton is to stage a Christmas Tree Festival this year at St Laurence Church
displaying not only Christmas Trees but Christmas wreaths.
The Festival will be held on the
13th, 14th and 15th December 2013
between 11am – 4pm.
Setting up the exhibits will be done
on Thursday 12th.
Entries of home-made Christmas wreaths (wire frames can be bought from us for £1), and trees with home-made decorations or home-made trees decorated, are invited from individuals, schools, families,
businesses, charities and community groups in and around Downton.
The “tree” should be no more than 4ft high x 3ft wide
The wreaths should be no less that 8”/20cm and no more than 46cm/18”
Downton Christmas Tree Festival Update: We would like to thank everyone for the lovely response to decorate a Christmas Tree - we are now closing the Application form as we have a full church. If you would like to be on a reserve list please let us know. We do hope you will come and see the results
